YOUR ROLE AS AN INTERN IN SALES:

Trade Marketing & Category Management:
You have the commercial responsibility for a category (e.g. Baby care with Pampers, Hair Care with Head & Shoulders etc.) for Nigeria.
Your mission will be to improve turnover and Sales fundamentals by making strategic choices in terms of budget, assortment and promotion. You will work alongside with the Brand leaders.
Key Account Management:
Externally focused on national and key accounts, you will contribute to national negotiations on prices, assortment, merchandising and promotions. You will collaborate with the whole customer team to prepare business plans and external negotiations.

ReadySetWork (RSW) Faculty Training Program for Nigerian Final Year Students 2018




Vision

Every student who graduates from a tertiary institution located in Lagos State will possess the knowledge, skills and mind-set required to be self-employed or become a value adding employee.

Participants:

The programme will be opened to 5,000 final year students from participatory institutions using the face-to-face method of learning and 20,000 penultimate year students from participatory institutions utilizing the on-line method of learning.

Programme Duration:

The programme runs for thirteen (13) weeks of intensive training (Saturday only) administered during the Second Semester of the school year.

Internships & Seed Funding:

At the end of the 13 weeks, outstanding students that have met the program requirements will have the opportunity to earn internship placements at various top organizations in the State. Students interested in being entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas in and their endeavour to bid for seed funding.

United Nations Environment Internship Programme for Young Champions to KENYA 2018

The United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment) is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.

UN Environment has a partnership with Covestro to run the Young Champions of the Earth, a multi-year challenge to help get big ideas off the ground with seed funding, mentoring, training, global publicity and access to influential networks. The challenge aims to identify, celebrate and support individuals between 18 and 30 with outstanding potential to create positive environmental impact. Each year, six or seven Young Champions will receive the full life-changing support package, and about 30 will receive expert mentoring. The initiative stems from Champions of the Earth, which remains as the highest environmental honour of the United Nations.

The Communication Division internship is for 6 months.

The internship is UNPAID and full-time.

Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background; the intern's assigned office as well as the internship period.

Under the direct supervision of the Communication Deputy Director, the intern will:

•Support the organization in reviewing submissions and provide regional and global juries with information and guidance;
•Liaise with UN Environment’s regional communication staff to shortlist applicants for the Young Champions of the Earth prize;

•Contribute to the development of outreach materials, update website pages and work with social media teams and translators to co-produce content;
•Help with the organization and logistics of the award ceremony;
•Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the work;
•Provide technical support to the Coordinator and other staff, and undertake other tasks as needed.

Education
